Sip Coffee, Pick Up Some Tools at the Brand-New Woods Hardware
Need a lightbulb? How about a new toaster or some pet supplies? You’re in luck: Woods Hardware has opened in downtown Cincinnati. The first full-service hardware store to serve the downtown area and OTR in more than a decade, Woods Hardware took over the Republican Club building at 125 E. Ninth St.
The new hardware store encompasses 8,000 square feet over two levels and offers an extensive inventory. “We wanted to hit what the home owner or apartment dweller needs down here,” store owner Matt Woods tells Bizjournals. Not only does the newly renovated space provide everything from cleaning supplies to tools, it also plays host to a coffee bar. It’s all part of Woods’s vision for his store to become a “social point for people who live in the basin.”
Woods Hardware is open Mondays through Saturdays. Free parking is offered.
