Meijer One Step Closer to Opening Supercenter in Sycamore Crossings
Planning is underway for a Meijer supercenter in the Sycamore Crossings subdivision. A proposal set forth by the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based retailer was approved by planning commissioners earlier this month, bringing Meijer one step closer to opening a 193,000-square-foot store at the northwest corner of DeKalb Avenue and Peace Road.
Meijer's Sycamore Crossings location will join 230 Meijer stores across six states. The supercenter will stock everything from groceries and household goods to toys and automotive supplies, according to the Daily Chronicle.
