Don’t Skip the 47th Greater Cincinnati Earth Day Celebration on April 22!
Earth Day is Saturday, April 22, an annual event marked by special activities, service projects, marches and celebrations throughout the country, including Cincinnati. One of the most prominent local observances is the 47th Greater Cincinnati Earth Day Celebration, which takes place from noon to 7 p.m. at Summit Park, 4335 Glendale Milford Road in Blue Ash.
If you go, expect more than 100 vendors and exhibitors offering environmentally friendly products and services, workshops exploring topics such as composting and rain barrels, a yoga class, interactive educational activities, and a recycling competition. Live music, a beer garden, local food trucks, and activities for kids ensure there will probably be a little something for everyone.
More than 7,000 people are expected to attend this year's event. Organizers hope attendees leave with a better understanding of how to help the Earth through environmentally friendly practices that they can bring into their daily lives.
