Soak Up the Remaining Days of Summer at Tower Park
If you often find yourself scratching your head, trying to find the entrance to a park you've never visited based on an antiquated map, this won't be your experience at Tower Park. With a 102-foot stone tower stretching toward the sky directly at its entrance, it's virtually impossible to miss this park. It's one of the few remaining relics of the military reservation of Fort Thomas, built more than 100 years ago.
Follow the tower to aptly named Tower Park, then explore everything that its nearly 90 acres have to offer. Many locals come here with bikes in tow and take to the eight miles' worth of bike trails. You can also hike the trails, play a game of tennis or basketball, or bring the kids to the playground at Tower Park.
