Catapult Leftover Pumpkins at the Mount Washington Pumpkin Chuck on Nov. 4
Pumpkins are an integral part of October, serving as everything from jack-o-lanterns to dinner table centerpieces. Once November rolls around, however, they're suddenly out of style. So what happens to all of those suddenly obsolete pumpkins? They turn into ammo at the Mount Washington Pumpkin Chuck.
On Saturday, November 4th, Stanbery Park welcomes families to catapult leftover pumpkins from its lineup of four trebuchets. There will be ample opportunities for everyone to participate in the Pumpkin Chuck from 12 to 5 p.m. When you're not taking a turn at one of the trebuchets, enjoy some of the live music, family-friendly games, and craft beer and food also offered at the Mount Washington Pumpkin Chuck. The event is free to attend, but pumpkin-chucking, food, and drink are pay-as-you-go, so bring your wallet along.
