Merchants & Music Brings Live Bands and Shopping to Tower Park
If you missed Merchants & Music last year—it skipped a year to allow for Fort Thomas's 150th birthday celebrations—you're in luck. The free music festival is returning for its 14th installment on Saturday, September 22nd. For more than a decade, Merchants & Music has cultivated a sense of community with its live bands and local vendors.
Head to the Tower Park Amphitheater to check out this year's lineup. Longstanding band 10,000 Maniacs headlines the fest with its signature brand of alt-rock music. The band has been around since 1981 and was originally headlined by Natalie Merchant, but its current lineup consists of equally talented musicians. Come to watch 10,000 Maniacs rock the main stage along with other performers, and then grab some food, hit the adjacent wine festival, or do some shopping with help from local merchants.
