The Fort Thomas Jack O’Lantern Walk and Contest Returns on Oct. 25
A warm-but-eerie glow illuminates the trail at Tower Park every autumn around the end of October. It emanates from more than 200 jack-o-lanterns, carved by the young and young-at-heart members of the community. This year, the festive gourds will line the trail on the evening of Friday, October 25th as part of the Fort Thomas Jack O’Lantern Walk and Contest.
If you want to see your own pumpkin along the path, bring your cleaned and carved jack-o-lantern to the park the day before between 5 and 7 p.m. Then return on the 25th after dusk, around 6 p.m., to see your masterpiece glowing alongside hundreds of other pumpkins and a thousand luminaries. The most artistic creations will earn prizes in categories such as “scary,” “traditional,” and “cutest,” so make sure to do your best work.
