A New Happy Hour Spot in Cincinnati: Butcher and Barrel

A mix of stone, leather, and glossy wood creates an upscale vibe at Butcher and Barrel. The chic bar and restaurant just made its debut in Cincinnati in early June, but it hasn't taken long for city dwellers to catch wind of the new addition. Butcher and Barrel's list of New American small plates and entrees, specialty cocktails, and wines by the glass has quickly earned the eatery positive reviews from Yelpers.

Come between 2 and 7 p.m. on a weekday to enjoy the happy hour specials. They include $2 off draft beers, $1 off cocktails, and $1 off vino flowing from the trendy wine tap. Pair your beverage with one or two small plates, such as the empanada duo with one pork belly and one spiced beef empanada or the caramelized brussels sprouts with duck fat and pork belly. Or you can dive right into a main dish, such as the crispy duck, the short ribs, or the filet mignon.
