Bite Into a Turkey Leg During the Ohio Renaissance Festival, Held Sept. 2-Oct. 29

The Ohio Renaissance Festival is transporting guests back in time to a small town in 16th-century England from September 2nd through October 29th. It recreates a local festival as it would have looked back then, with vendors doling out turkey legs in lieu of hot dogs and amusement park rides powered by human hands instead of electricity.

You'll have no trouble staying entertained all day long since the Renaissance Festival boasts more than 100 shows each day scattered across 12 stages, from dueling knights armed only with swords to jugglers launching fire into the air and reclaiming it artfully. Between shows, meet and greet with the 150 costumed characters who stroll around the festival grounds, stopping for photo ops and saying hello to guests. Stop and explore the shops stocked with unique, handcrafted items, grab a steak-on-a-stake, and enjoy everything that the Ohio Renaissance Festival has to offer. Tickets start at $9.50 for children and $22.50 for adults.
