Cincinnati Named One of the Most Affordable Cities in the U.S.

Since you're already living in Cincinnati, chances are you're already familiar with many of its perks — including the lineup of local breweries, the ever-evolving arts and culture scene, and destinations like the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. What you might not know, however, is that Cincinnati also offers one of the best deals to its residents.

According to a recently released ranking by Livability, a real estate site, Cincinnati comes in at number 10 on its list of the nation's most affordable cities. The article also reveals that residents of Cincy spend more money on essentials than people living in the other top 10 cities, but this doesn't set them back much. The cost of homes is much lower than the national average (by about $70,000) and rent is so affordable that Cincinnatians easily make up the difference. As a result, they spend approximately 25% less than most Americans. For more info on what makes your city so great, check out this Biz Journal article.
