Decorate Your Apartment in Romance With These Valentine’s Day Crafts

This Valentine's Day, don't just throw on a piece of pink clothing and call it day. Commit to the holiday not only in your ensemble and date-night plans, but also in your home decor. You don't need to make major changes to your apartment to express romance. Simply add one of these easy DIY V-Day decorations.

DIY Floral Hearts [Designed Improvised]
If you want to bring the V-Day vibes and look forward to spring, incorporate some (faux) fresh blooms into your decor with these DIY floral hearts. Pick up a heart-shaped grapevine wreath and five or six bunches of fake flowers, as well as wire cutters and a glue gun if you don't already have them. Then shear the flowers off of their stems and hot-glue them to the wreath to create a heart-shaped ring of flowers.

$1 Heart Tree [Money Hip Mamas]
Instead of shelling out the cash for a dozen long-stemmed roses, tell your significant other to save their cash and create this cute heart tree instead. Head outside to snag a few small branches (or buy them at the craft store) and purchase some small foam hearts. Then simply glue the hearts to the branches, let them dry, and position them inside of a cute vase.

DIY Kiss Artwork [Style Me Pretty]
If you already have a solid lipstick collection, then opt for this kiss-themed masterpiece. Get a piece of white artboard and tape a cardboard border around it. Apply a light pink shade of lipstick, position your fingertips on the edges of the cardboard (so they don't smudge the artboard), and lay a few smooches on the plain white canvas. Repeat with increasingly darker shades of lipstick until you fill up the artboard, then frame the masterpiece and hang it up!
