Don’t Miss the Cincinnati Food Truck Association Food Festival on September 22nd

The advent of the food truck was a turning point in culinary history, particularly for big cities. It allowed a larger and more diverse group of chefs to get behind the counter—and the wheel—and craft food that was just as unique as them. Cincinnati is one of the cities whose eaters have benefitted from the proliferation of food trucks, something that the Cincinnati Food Truck Association Food Festival will celebrate on Friday, September 22nd.

Come out to Summit Park in Blue Ash for the day full of food and fun. It kicks off at 11 a.m., when more than 30 Cincinnati-area food trucks circle up at the park, dishing out everything from gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches (courtesy of C'est Cheese) to Korean barbecue (served by Red Sesame). MadTree Brewing, Dogberry Brewing, and Rhinegeist are a few of the breweries who will pour pints to accompany the food, and local performers such as DJ Nate the Great and Katie Pritchard Music will provide the tunes. Admission is free; just bring some cash for food and drinks.
