Grassroots & Vine is a fitting name for the newly debuted market and restaurant on Fort Thomas Ave. The concept grew out of a grassroots effort by owners Barb and Chuck Thomas to support local farmers and small businesses. Their passion for the Fort Thomas community led them to establish a market stocked with local goods and an eatery that doles out small plates highlighting the bounty of regional farmers.

Head to Grassroots & Vine to grab a glass of wine from one of two bars or to sit out on the patio and savor some small plates. Dig into a platter of cheese and charcuterie, sink your teeth into a spicy chipotle chicken panini, or enjoy a classic margherita flatbread. Complement the nibbles with a craft beer or a wine slushie, and then treat yourself to a slice of honeysuckle cake, a twist on traditional hummingbird cake.
