Give Your Bathroom a Whole New Look With These Pro Tips
Are you looking for ways to revitalize your bathroom without committing to a total makeover? There are many ways to spruce up the space and transform it into an oasis where you can enjoy a hot shower or a bubble bath after a long day. Here are just a few ideas.
- Let the light in with a gauzy shower curtain. Most bathrooms have one window, if any, and it's usually tucked away behind your shower curtain. In order to allow as much natural light as possible into your bathroom, skip the opaque shower curtain and opt for something semi-sheer. This will still offer privacy, but without robbing you of the much-needed sunshine.
- Bring the bright hues. The sunshine will only go so far if you dress your bathroom in dark colors. Opt for bright shades and neutral tones to make your space feel bigger and more pleasant. Choose towels and bath mats in colors like white, gray, yellow, and pink to create a calming and enjoyable space.
- Organize with cute elements. In order to make your bathroom the sanctuary it should be, you'll need to keep everything in its proper place. Do so by adding organizational elements that are as cute as they are practical, like a simple steel organizer for your hot hair tools or a wooden crate to hold extras hand towels and TP.
- Add temporary wallpaper. Papering a wall is a big committment—unless you use temporary wallpaper. This stick-on wallpaper comes down easily when you decide to move out, so it's really no commitment at all. Wallpaper one accent wall using a bright pattern or hue to really give your bathroom a fresh look.
