How to Explore Warren County — for Free!
There’s no need to schlep into Cincinnati to find free stuff to do. Lebanon and Warren County have plenty of things going on that don’t require you to spend a dime. One of those events is happening Wednesday, April 12, which happens to be National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day. To celebrate this delicious holiday, Miami Valley Gaming is having its 2nd Annual Grilled Cheese Throwdown. The best part? You could be picked to be a judge — you just have to name your favorite “cheesy” line from a movie. (The deadline for entry is Saturday.)
Earth Day is Saturday, April 22, which is the perfect opportunity to give back to the community and the planet by taking part in a volunteer day at Caesar Creek State Park Nature Center in Waynesville. Help out by taking on tasks like picking up trash, pulling weeds from flower gardens, and filling birdseed containers. Stick around afterwards for special programming on migratory birds and insects. This would be an ideal family activity!
