Irons Fruit Farm Brings the Fall Fun for Its Special October Weekends
As the first full month of autumn, there's a lot of pressure on October to deliver ample amounts of fall fun. October Weekends at Lebanon's Irons Fruit Farm pack as many seasonal activities as possible into Saturdays and Sundays through the end of October.
Kick off the festive fun with a visit to the pumpkin patch—just climb aboard a hay-stuffed wagon, and a tractor will pull you directly to the patch. Then you can pluck the perfect pumpkin and take a hayride back to the main market. Take a stab at the corn maze, a 12-acre puzzle that you solve by escaping from between the stalks. Before you go home, make sure to grab a basket of Stayman Winesap or Gold Delicious apples, pick up some apple fritters, or indulge in a cinnamon-cider doughnut at the market and store.
