Mark Your Calendars: Coney Island Reopens for the Season May 26

Coney Island has been an integral thread in the fabric of Cincinnati's community since 1886. That was the year that it transformed from a 400-acre apple orchard to a local water park. A lot has changed since then, including the technology behind the rides and slides at Coney Island. But one thing that hasn't changed is that locals flock here for fun in the sun every summer. This year, Coney Island will reopen for business on Saturday, May 26th.

Come out for the grand opening if you want to be one of the first to dip a toe in the sprawling Sunlite Pool, which encompasses more than two acres' worth of space for splashing. Then zip down the Twister, a labyrinth of four slides, two of which require tubes while the others do not. The enclosed Pipeline Plunge pair of slides send guests hurtling toward the water atop an inner tube, while the old-school Silver Bullet slide sends you sailing right into the deep end. Dry off on one of the water-free thrill rides, like the Python roller coaster, the Scrambler, or the Tilt-a-Whirl.
