Mark Your Calendars for These April Events in Madisonville

The weather is getting warmer, which means it's time to get outside! If you're looking for something to do with the kids on Saturday, April 8, where they'll get some fresh air, look no further than the Great Egg Hunt at the Duck Creek Y. Children will be able to enter a coloring contest, play spring games and, of course, go toe-to-toe with other kids in an egg hunt. It all unfolds from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.

Also Saturday from noon to 3 p.m, the Little Duck Creek Trail will officially open for the season. With help from naturalists with the Cincinnati Museum Center, kids will learn how to identify certain trees, take part in nature-centric crafts, and eat some healthy snacks.

For something a little more adult, yet still kid-friendly, MadTree Brewing in Cincinnati will be having a free event benefiting Hospice of Southwest Ohio from 4-10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11. In addition to a decent selection of local craft beer, expect food trucks, live music, door prizes, and more. You can feel good about going out on a Tuesday night because your support will go toward bereavement support for families.
