Snag Your Tickets to the Farm to Fort Dinner on July 2 at Fort Thomas’s Tower Park
Perhaps the only way to make local fare even more eco-friendly is by skipping the formal brick-and-mortar building and serving it out in the midst of nature. That's what chefs will be doing to celebrate the 150th birthday of Fort Thomas at the Farm to Fort Dinner on Sunday, July 2nd at Tower Park. Guests are invited to don their finest white outfits and come to the lawn of the Mess Hall for the meal.
To honor this important birthday, Chef Colonel De and other local culinary experts will dish out a five-course meal. They're committed to using only ingredients from area farmers and pairing each course with wine or bourbon that complements the food. Throughout the meal, The Kentucky Hilltoppers and the Fort Thomas Children's Choir will provide entertainment. And at nigh's end, everyone leaves with a souvenir Louisville Stoneware mint julep cup designed by a local artist. Tickets are $150.
